Ed and Caden return to the world of North American wrestling with a discussion of the other major promotion in the world, AEW. Given that the company has been running seemingly a newsworthy show every couple of weeks since August, the Southern Fried Wrestlecast wanted to take a step back and ask the critical question - are we having fun with it? Ed and Caden attempt to break down what's working for them and what's missing the mark while getting into the ton of feedback you loyal listeners have provided.

Ed and Caden return from a month of following the biggest tournament in pro wrestling, New Japan's G1 Climax. The gentlemen have a history with the G1 and, as it's been a major influence in their modern professional wrestling fandom, they felt like it was important to see how this one compared to the ones that brought them in on NJPW. You'll hear about what they thought of the tournament overall, did it succeed in its goals, and experience a Southern Fried Wrestlecast first - listener feedback!

Ed and Caden have sat through the "Who Killed WCW?" documentary by Vice and, as two men who lived through the rise and fall of the company, they have some thoughts they would like to share. On this episode, the Southern Fried Gentlemen give a review of the mini-series, discuss whether or not they feel it does a fair job telling the whole story, and compare it to other sources that have discussed the death of the WCW in the past. Then, perhaps most importantly, judgement is passed on the ones who they believe are the responsible parties for killing what should have been an unkillable company.

The Southern Fried Gentlemen return to talk about another subject near and dear to their hearts - video games. Specifically, the different wrestling games both men have played over the years and how it has impacted their fandom. Join Ed and Caden as they talk about the earliest video game experiences, what some of their favorites have been over the years, and what they think of the modern games like AEW Fight Forever and the WWE 2K series. Feel free to drop a comment and share what your favorite wrestling games have been, especially if Ed and Caden missed one.

After a few more analytical episodes, Ed and Caden are back revisiting a concept from the early shows - finding the best matches on otherwise bad PPVs. Join the gentlemen in revisiting such wonderful periods in wrestling history like Herb Abrams UWF, WCW, WCW (again), and of course some late stage ECW. It's a fun show for all the people who lived through this period in American wrestling and maybe even those who did not. Check it out and, if you have any suggestions for future matches that fit this, please feel free to leave a comment.

On this episode, Ed and Caden examine the current state of WWE and AEW as both are in what could be seen as a state of rebooting or rebuilding themselves. The gentlemen take a look at one of the most successful campaigns any company has had in rebranding themselves and use that as the basis for examining the different strategies both companies have chosen. While shorter than other episodes, this should hopefully be an interesting and provocative discussion that they'd love to hear some feedback on!

Ed and Caden return, fresh(ish) off watching Wrestlemania XL and decide to take a different approach to their discussion. Rather than going through the show match by match like everyone else in the world has done, the Southern Fried Gentlemen decide to revisit an early episode of the Wrestlecast to see how much things have changed with WWE in the past three years since the show started. Has WWE managed to accomplish any of the original "demandments" laid out for what it would take for the hosts to be back in with them, what did they think of the show as a whole, and what did they take away from watching two nights of Wrestlemania regarding the future of the WWE? Listen, share, laugh, and feel free to leave some feedback on what you got out of WWE's biggest show of the year.

This episode was recorded during the SFW's "hiatus" period but, given the announced documentary, it was decided that it might be appropriate to share with the listeners. Ed and Caden take a long, retrospective look at the career of one Windham Rotunda, better known as Bray Wyatt. The guys chat about his run in developmental, his time on the main roster, what worked with the character/performer, and what did not. Not a typical affair and kind of the first of its kind for SFW so please share your thoughts.
